Experienced Representation When You Need It
It can be jarring when life hits you with an unexpected challenge – especially a legal one. My mission, as an attorney, is to use my skills and knowledge to help you overcome those obstacles when they arise.
Since I’ve founded this firm, Duncan Legal, PC, I have always been a true advocate for my clients. Even before I became an attorney, I was determined to improve the circumstances of those around me, as well as help others communicate – which is probably what guided me to study international relations before attending law school.

Compassion comes from a place of empathy and empathy comes from experience. I have over 25 years of legal experience in helping people find solutions to life’s puzzles. At Duncan Legal, PC, we have an understanding of life’s legal puzzles to help you find solutions for:
- Estate planning needs

- Family law and divorce
- Elder law and Medicaid planning
- Chapter 7 bankruptcy
About Our Experience
Since becoming an attorney in 1992, I’ve helped people express their needs and find efficient solutions to meet those needs. Whether my clients need a plan for the future, a resolution to a problem, or a fresh start, I’m always up for the challenge.
My practice has certainly evolved over the years – partially due to the regular trial and error that comes with decades of experience and partially because I’ve always believed that it’s never too late to improve even more.
For instance, my initial practice didn’t include estate planning or probate work. As time went on, though, some of my early clients started to get older, and they sought my help. They were beginning to think about their futures, their families, and their legacies and realized they needed to build secure estate plans. After taking on their cases and helping to put their minds at ease, I expanded my practice. Since then, it has continued to grow and, I hope, will keep growing for the sake of my current and future clients.
In Remembrance Of William Duncan: Father, Husband And Friend
My husband Bill and I started Duncan Legal in Colorado in 2002. Sadly, Bill passed away in March of 2020. Bill was a source of strength and constant support. His compassionate heart was on display every day to those around him, whether they were his children, friends or clients. His commitment to helping others is his legacy and continues to be a driving force here at the firm. We honor Bill’s legacy of excellent service to clients and look forward to working with you on your legal challenges.
